Tammy Miron, Site Administrator at Alliance Radiation Oncology at Anna Jaques Hospital, recently won the Site Administrator of the Year award at Alliance Oncology’s 2017 Division Meeting.
The annual meeting was held April 12 – 14 at the Sheraton Grand in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
The Site Administrator of the Year award is bestowed to the top site administrator in the company and was presented by the Senior Vice President of Operations and President of Alliance Oncology. Over the past year, Tammy remained strong and led her team, even while coping with a couple of unforeseen tragedies. Even during the hard times, Tammy kept the staff at Alliance Radiation Oncology at Anna Jaques Hospital on track and committed to their important job in hand, treating patients with compassionate care. Tammy was recognized for handling all aspects of MD coverage including credentialing, billing, and training, and was praised for hiring and training a new RN to take over for a current and longtime RN to go PRN. She also hired a dosimetrist and recruited a local qualified physicist group to cover until a permanent physicist joins the center. She did all of this while working with Alliance Oncology’s leadership and business development team on forming a partnership with Anna Jaques Hospital.
Alliance Oncology is the nationwide leader in radiation oncology and radiosurgery programs, partnering directly with hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers to offer the latest oncology technologies to their patients. The Alliance Oncology Division Meeting is the company’s annual educational meeting that helps those at the radiation oncology centers maintain competence and learn about new and developing areas of their field through lectures and hands-on activities.
